The Malaysian Chinese Association Overseas Club of United Kingdom (MCACUK) was established in the year 2005. MCACUK is a non-profit and non-political organization founded with the aims of, amongst others, providing a platform for networking between Malaysian Chinese working and studying in the United Kingdom and, where possible, to look after the welfare of Malaysian Chinese residing in the United Kingdom. This does not mean that MCACUK is restricted to serving only the Malaysian Chinese community in the United Kingdom. Rather, we work with many other like-minded organizations for the betterment of the Malaysian community in the United Kingdom as a whole.

But one thing was certain ...
Shaking off public misconception about the MCA UK Club being a political organisation is no easy task, as its newly appointed president Pua Hong Ping can readily testify. And the job can be a lot tougher, especially with the Malaysian community in Britain following with great interest the flurry of political events unfolding back home.
